We do not obtain overpriced vacuum cleaners given that they never ever last way more than a couple of years with us.
This is certainly beneficial value for income (once you've put it together. It comes in bits so be prepared
to use a screwdriver. It certainly does the company though. I didn't realise our carpets were
so dirty. I've tried Dysons prior to and find them pretty high priced and quite big to manage.
I'd advise this based on initial experience. How long it will last? Only time will tell.
Ok, I'm not too certain if some of the glowing testimonials could possibly have been written by Electrolux staff or enthusiasts, but here goes for a review from the individual who brought this vacuum and uses it.
This cleaner was brought to replace a 12 year old Electrolux upright which had given sterling serice, that sadly expired.
Firstly assembly, not too negative at all, around 20 minutes from start to finish. Self assembly does make you realise that this machine is just a plastic shell, and almost certainly not all that durable if you are a heavy user.
The vacuum comes with a turbo stair and upholstry tool, a dusting tool, crevice tool, and extenstion tube. Now comes the key issue, the hose supplied is not as shown the in the image (a blue 2-1 stretch hose) but a rigid grey plastic hose. This hose is just long sufficient to vacuum a sofa, or with effort 5 methods of a staircase.
Cheekily inside the plastic bag containing the user guide Electrolux say "Cleaning stairs ? Upgrade your hose to reach your staircase easily". One particular choice replaces the standard hose with a strech hose (as per product image), the other is an extension to the existing. Why promote getting a tool to make quick perform of stairs if the machine cannot clean a flight of stairs? 5 methods from the bottom to top rated, and five actions from the top rated to bottom leaves a gap in the middle!
As an existing electrolux vacuum owner I had a hard floor cleaning tool etc. This machine has a nozze size of a non-common 36mm rather than the usual 32mm. If you have existing tools they will not fit.
When vacuumin from the leading of the stairs downwards (machine retained by the bannister) the rigid hose continually knocks the on/off switch turning the machine off!
Now for a positive comment, suction is exceptional, and the dust collected tends to make you really feel as although the machine has completed it is job.
Essentially if you live in a bungalow or apartment then this would be the most effective environment for this machine. Provided you are an occasional user. Develop high quality is no improved than the spending budget offerings by a number of of the supermarkets.
If you have a property, or are a household user steer clear, and appear elsewhere there are far greater offerings for your income.
Having spoken to Electrolux Consumer Services they are conscious of these issues. Depespite getting a superb consumer service desk, it does not hide the fact the product is poor. If I thought I could reject as not fit for objective I would.
