I recently acquired a Vax and was impressed to commence with, but it had some design flaws which became really annoying - but this new lightweight Vax which provides the identical level of cleaning power in a lowered form has ironed out the niggles I had with its larger brother....
...The Vax U91-P5P Energy five Pet Bagless Upright Vacuum Cleaner was a good cleaner but it was best heavy and fell over all too-typically, and a lot more annoyingly the power cord entered the unit at the base and so you had to constantly hold it so that you did not run over more than it when you manouvered the vacuum backwards!
The 'Mach Air' does not have these problems even though. In reality, it is incredibly well developed from an ergonimics point of view. The power button is at the top rated rather than on the base, and a very simple push mechanism makes it possible for you to adjust the deal with height. I'm more than six feet tall and my wife is also tall, she's not most likely to use this (I'm a domestic God) but must she ever drag it out then she'll also appreciate that we don't have to stood to use it.
A lot of thought has gone into the common operation of this Vax: The brush bar can be switched off at the press of a button (conveniently placed subsequent to the power button) so that it can be utilized on tough floors without the risk of scratching. Hassle-free clips on the base permit access to the brushbar to be accessed in case of any entanglements (happens frequently in my property when I pick up a carpet thread), and the dust compartment is detached inside seconds so that it can then be emptied into the bin.
This machine is advertised as light-weight, and though you happen to be not going to be selecting it up with one finger - it is definitively a lot lighter than the other vacuums I've had. At very first I even though it looked a bit puny, but the smaller form means that the brushbar can get proper up to the edge, and wherever it cannot reach - the onboard tools can.
In a nutshell: A well thought out vacuum cleaner which looks quite snazzy too. The dust bucket is pretty compact so you could find oneself emptying it significantly more regularly than other models. But it is a fine trade-off for a smaller, lighter cleaner which is conveniently stored. This is extremely effortless to use and the only assembly it requires out-of-the-box is sticking the deal with into the key body. There are more potent models in the marketplace - but this fits a niche and soon after getting a handful of tiny vacuum cleaners over the years - this effortlessly out-performs them all.

Pretty light and uncomplicated to use and empty,Height adjustable handle which pops out and attaches to the hose without difficulty, hose could have been a little longer and you do need to have to hold the machine when using the hose as it can tip as it is so lightweight, having stated that it is light adequate to carry in 1 hand with the hose in the other to do the stairs with little effort.The brush bar turns off at the touch of a button which is awesome for going among carpet and challenging floors, the nose is slim and gets beneath furniture extremely nicely, in contrast to the dyson.And the other plus points are the cost (much less then half of a dyson) and 6 year guarantee when you register it.Would i advise it or purchase another, absolutely, just bought a single for my mum too.
